Oblivious Girl

She was polishing and painting...
   So I decided to be her nail
She pruned me and scraped me...
   Making my decision to fail

She was drying and combing...
   So I decided to be her hair
She cut me and dyed me...
   That's really not so fair

She was glossing and smacking...
   So I decided to be her lips
She was kissing another man...
   I got broken into chips

She was trying and shopping...
   I became the skirt she'd adore
She is having fun with a man...
   While I am lying on the floor.. :(
